Why is chamomile skin healing?
The abundance of antioxidants in chamomile are very effective in removing harmful free radicals from the body and providing relief from allergic conditions like psoriasis, eczema, acne, sunburn, rosacea, etc. The natural polyphenols and phytochemicals in chamomile aid wound treatment and speed up the healing process.
Why is chamomile mind calming?
Chamomile is widely recognized as a mild tranquilizer and sleep-inducer. It is thought that chamomile may increase brain neurotransmitter activity (serotonin, dopamine, and noradrenaline) and thereby have positive effects on mood and anxiety.
Should I drink Chamomile?
Drinking chamomile tea regularly may help maintain healthy blood pressure levels more indirectly as it helps to reduce stress, promote sleep, and relax blood vessels and arteries.
Did you know Chamomile Essential oil is deep blue?
The dark blue is caused by the presence of a high concentration of chamazulene in this oil, providing the anti-inflammatory properties for which Matricaria chamomile is most prized.
Cautionary Notes:
