Propolis Toffee - Botanical Chews / Fudge
Our small‑batch botanical chews are crafted with propolis from our own South Australian apiary. Unlike brittle hard‑crack candy, these chews have a firm, resin‑elastic texture that softens slowly and releases flavour as you enjoy them.
Fudge has a softer, melt in your mouth texture.
Each batch begins with freshly harvested botanicals, steeped overnight, then finished after cooking with propolis, bright sweet‑orange top notes, and warm Madagascar clove for a citrus‑spice lift.
Madagascar clove is prized for its rich, rounded aroma, warm, sweet‑spicy, and naturally uplifting, adding depth and balance to the resinous character of propolis. The result is a uniquely aromatic chew that feels both modern and old‑world, with a flavour profile that unfolds gently as it warms.
Cut into squares, lightly dusted, and sealed for freshness, these botanical chews are aromatic and full of soothing character. A handcrafted treat made from our own apiary harvest and botanicals.

- Naturally comforting chew with warm citrus‑spice notes and resin‑rich propolis.

Quality Propolis High‑Resin, Slow‑Matured, Hive‑Derived
Propolis is collected from our beehives during regular hive checks from spring through to autumn. After harvesting, it is transformed into a rich, high‑resin propolis cream through a slow, traditional extraction process that takes 4–6 weeks. Raw propolis is placed into 99.8% absolute ethanol at a 1:5 ratio and shaken daily, then filtered multiple times as the resin settles into a thick, creamy concentrate.
This soft, resin‑rich propolis cream is stored beneath a protective layer of ethanol to prevent it from hardening — because once exposed to air, propolis becomes extremely hard, almost like cement, and can only be re‑solubilised in ethanol. This natural hardness is part of what makes propolis such a powerful protective material inside the hive.
Key Benefits
- Potent antibacterial & antifungal activity
- Supports wound healing and tissue repair
- Reduces inflammation and soothes irritated skin
- Strengthens the skin barrier
- Rich in antioxidants
These benefits come directly from the bees’ own hive‑defence chemistry: concentrated plant resins, flavonoids, and natural antimicrobials.
How We Use It
This high‑resin propolis cream is currently used in our medicinal formulations, with a view to expanding as supply increases:
- Scar Healing Balm
- Nail Guard & Chilblain Stick
- Scalp & Hair Tonic
Pure Propolis Cream — Now Available
For makers, herbalists, and formulators, we offer pure propolis cream exactly as we use it in our own products. Each jar is supplied with a protective top layer of ethanol to maintain softness and stability. Scoopable, resin‑rich, and ready for your use.
Is this edible? Propolis is sometimes consumed in other forms (such as raw propolis or tinctures), but this cream propolis is for topical use.
It is designed for external skin application, but we also have Propolis Tincture
