Lanolin Anhydrous

(0)

From $5.50

Lanolin (Anhydrous)

A highly effective skin softener and emollient with versatile uses for both skincare and home applications.

What is Lanolin (Anhydrous)?

Lanolin Anhydrous (without water) is a natural, rich emollient and softener used in skincare.
It can absorb more than 200% of its weight in water, making it ideal for stabilizing water-in-oil emulsions.
Although sticky upon application, it absorbs into the skin over time without clogging pores, providing instant soothing relief to chapped and very dry skin.

Uses of Lanolin

In the Home

Lanolin is a versatile product with many practical uses, including:

Anti-Rust Protection: Prevents rust on tools and metal surfaces.
Natural Wood Polish: Restores and protects wooden furniture.
Leather Protection & Restoration: Keeps leather soft, supple, and water-resistant.
Waterproofing: Ideal for shoes, bags, and outdoor gear.

In Skincare

Recommended Usage: 2-10%, up to 20% in emulsions.
Ideal for Formulating:
- Nipple creams.
- Cracked heel balms and salves.
- Lip balms.
- Dry skin relief lotions and creams.
- Hair creams.

How is Lanolin Derived?

Lanolin is extracted from sheep's wool through a process of washing in hot water with a wool scouring detergent.
This removes dirt, wool grease (crude lanolin), sweat salts, and other impurities.
The pure anhydrous wax is obtained through centrifugal separation or solvent extraction.

Sustainability & Animal Welfare

Lanolin is a 100% natural and cruelty-free by-product of sheep's wool.
Sheep's wool grows continuously and must be sheared annually to prevent health hazards such as overheating or soiling.
Shearing is essential for the animal's well-being.

Storage Instructions

Store in a sealed container in cool, dry conditions.
Lanolin does not go moldy and can last indefinitely, similar to honey. Batch dates are used for practicality rather than expiry dates.
Consistency:
- Softer in warm conditions.
- Harder in cool conditions.

Chilblain Stick

(2)

From $6.00

Chilblain Stick

Apply to chilblain spots to reduce swelling, pain, and increase circulation.

Do You Suffer from Painful Chilblains?

Chilblains can cause swollen, painful skin spots that are tender to the touch and close to splitting. Whether caused by cold exposure, constant water contact, or wearing food preparation gloves, this Chilblain Stick was developed to provide relief.

As someone with a lifetime of Raynaud's (a condition that limits blood circulation to affected areas, like hands), I created this stick for myself—and now for you!

How It Helps

Will it eliminate chilblains?
- No: Chilblains take time and warmer temperatures to heal completely.
- Yes: It will decrease swelling, reduce discomfort, and help prevent skin damage.
When to Use:
- Start applying as soon as you feel chilblains developing.
- Apply directly to the spots or onto a band-aid for daytime protection.
How It Works:
- Instantly soothes painful spots.
- Reduces swelling and discomfort.
- Helps you continue working and wearing gloves if needed.

Why Choose the Chilblain Stick?

Made with 100% natural ingredients (see below).
Non-messy, soft, and supple—similar to a lip balm but designed for chilblains.
Absorbs into the skin and provides instant soothing relief.
Reapply as needed or use the band-aid trick for continuous protection.

Application Tips

Apply directly to chilblain spots.
For extra protection, apply to a band-aid and wrap around the affected area.
Reapply as required, especially after washing or rubbing off.

Warning

DO NOT apply to lips or near eyes.
If contact occurs, wash off with water immediately.
Ensure the label is clear and visible for safe use.
