Skyezone Apiary began in November 2023 with a single hive of beautiful bees. Today, we have 7 hives. Honey is just one of their most delicious benefits.

PROPOLIS

Bees create powerful antibacterial and antifungal propolis to seal and protect their hives. We carefully process any excess resin in the hive and use it in our more medicinal skincare products. See our post on Propolis

BEESWAX

Beeswax forms the hexagonal cells where bees raise brood and store honey. Once filled, the cells are capped with wax until the young bees emerge or the hive needs honey for winter. We harvest responsibly, always leaving the bees with abundant stores.

POLLINATION

Our bees are exceptional pollinators, boosting the health and productivity of our fruits, vegetables, herbs — and our neighbours’ gardens too. 

SYMBIOSIS

Working with bees is fascinating, and here at Skyezone we’ve developed a truly symbiotic relationship with our hives.
