These are some of the more common herbs / plants that I distil for use in Skyezone products:

Herb/Plant

Key Properties Relevant to Skin

Notes

Achillea millefolium (Yarrow)

Anti-inflammatory, astringent, wound-healing

Excellent for minor cuts, inflamed skin, and even acne-prone formulations. Can be slightly astringent

Plantain (Plantago major)

Mucilaginous, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory

Superb for soothing irritated or damaged skin. Great for salves and healing balms.

Lemon Verbena

Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, calming scent

More aromatic than therapeutic topically, but adds a lovely sensory layer.

Mulberry Leaf

Antioxidant, skin-brightening, anti-inflammatory

Leaf and root extracts can help with pigmentation and inflammation.

Ginkgo Leaf

Antioxidant, improves circulation

Often used in anti-aging formulations. Works well in emulsions or serums.

Ocimum gratissimum (Perennial Basil)

Antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory

Strong therapeutic profile. Great for acne-prone or inflamed skin.

Chamomile

Calming, anti-inflammatory, soothing

Closest in temperament to calendula. Ideal for sensitive skin and inflammation.
