    Trying to minimise one’s energy footprint is a ‘Must Do’ and Skyezone became 99.4% carbon neutral in 2024.
    Since 2011 a 4.6 kWh of solar panel arrays (below) powered a considerable number of our production devices:
    5 dedicated fridges, 1 freezer;
    2 x Distillations units,
    2x Compressor pumps, Juicer, Dehydrators, Vitamisers, Mixers, Blenders, Electronic scales,  plus office computer/ printer/phones/heater etc.

    In 2021 Eco-seal film was added to sun facing windows to reduce heat/ cold transfer.

    Our Transition Plan to a fully renewable energy system took a huge leap forward in 2.5 years.
    By August 2024 we had transitioned to:

    • Induction stoves (gas removed)
    • Hot water heat pump, powered by solar panels.

    By 2026
    Solar panels increased to a 9.2 kW system

    • 3 x 9.7kW Solar Edge storage batteries - now able to generate and store 99.4% energy for Skyezone year round.
    • Transitioned to an electric car
    • 7 dedicated fridges

    All the best in reducing your footprint as we transition to cleaner energy. Every step helps! Take the carbon footprint test.

    Be safe, with kind regards. Jennifer Elwin and the Skyezone team
