Our organically grown Nettle (Urtica dioica) contains potent antioxidants, which are substances that protect the body from aging and cell damage.

People have used it for centuries as an herbal medicine & modern research supports many of the potential health benefits of nettle and nettle tea.

To Make Tea: For a regular infusion, a teaspoon of dried nettle leaves can be steeped five to 20 minutes with water that has reached a rolling boil. You can also steep it at room temperature overnight for a strong tonic.

BENEFITS:
1. Urinary tract health:
Nettle may help flush harmful bacteria from the urinary tract. This can benefit people who have urinary conditions, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). BPH causes an enlarged prostate gland in men. This can cause pain or other problems urinating. Nettle may also help support medications you’re taking for infections or conditions related to the urinary tract.

2. Arthritis Pain
Nettle has historically been used to treat pain and sore muscles, especially related to arthritis. The Arthritis Foundation suggests nettle tea may also reduce the inflammation and pain associated with osteoarthritis.

3. Blood sugar management
Nettle has shown some promising effects on blood glucose levels. It may help the pancreas make or release more insulin, the hormone that lowers blood sugar.

4. The power of polyphenols & antioxidants
Nettle is high in plant chemicals called polyphenols. A review of the research on polyphenols suggests that these powerful compounds may play a role in the prevention and management of chronic diseases related to inflammation, such as diabetes, obesity, cancer, and heart disease. Plants like nettle also contain potent antioxidants, which are substances that protect the body from aging and cell damage.

Polyphenol & Antioxidant Defense: Exceptionally high in active plant compounds and polyphenols that work naturally to protect cells from environmental damage, combat oxidative stress, and assist the body's natural aging process.

Urinary Tract & Fluid Balance: Acts as a gentle, natural diuretic that helps flush the urinary tract, supporting bladder health and providing traditional comfort for conditions associated with fluid retention.

Soothing Systemic Comfort: Historically valued for its natural anti-inflammatory properties, offering gentle relief that helps ease daily joint discomfort.

Metabolic Support: Contains natural bio-actives that help support metabolic function and assist the body in maintaining steady, balanced blood glucose levels.

Contains, but not limited to:

  • Nettle Leaf, dried in season

Detailed Botanicals Information

Standard Brew: Place 1 teaspoon of dried nettle leaves into your infuser and steep in a cup of hot boiled water for 5 to 20 minutes depending on your preferred strength.

Strong Herbal Tonic: For a deeply restorative, mineral-dense extract, place your herbs in room-temperature water and allow them to steep covered on the counter overnight before straining and drinking.

Storage Instructions: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Jar the herbs in a tightly sealed container to ensure the dried leaves stay crisp, vibrant, and highly aromatic.

⚠️ Food Warning: This product is a 100% natural herbal food item and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. Because nettle is a potent botanical that can actively lower blood sugar, lower blood pressure, and act as a natural diuretic, always consult a healthcare professional before introducing it to your routine if you are pregnant, nursing, taking prescription medications (especially blood pressure, diabetes, or blood-thinning medications), or managing an underlying medical condition.
