Sun Guard is a natural formulation suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Its active ingredient, mineral zinc oxide, works by reflecting or scattering UV light, providing broad-spectrum UVA & UVB protection with SPF30. Lightly scented with pure spearmint essential oil, it’s gentle and refreshing.
What Does SPF Mean?
- Sun Protection Factor (SPF): Refers to the degree of shielding against UVA & UVB rays.
- SPF30: Blocks 97% of UV rays.

Burn Time Calculation:
- If your unprotected skin burns in 10 minutes, SPF30 extends that time by 30x.
- Example: 10 minutes x 30 = 300 minutes before burning occurs.

- Reflected from electronic devices like phones, tablets, and computers.

- Combines botanicals and iron oxide to shield against HEV Blue Light.

Sun Exposure:
- If you plan to remain exposed to the sun for more than 2.5 hours / 150 minutes, please consider another sunscreen brand or cover up.

Making a Sunscreen – Homogenisation Process
