• Lanolin Anhydrous (without water) is a natural, rich emollient and softener used in skincare.
• It can absorb more than 200% of its weight in water, making it ideal for stabilizing water-in-oil emulsions.
• Although sticky upon application, it absorbs into the skin over time without clogging pores, providing instant soothing relief to chapped and very dry skin.

How is Lanolin Derived?

• Lanolin is extracted from sheep's wool through a process of washing in hot water with a special wool scouring detergent.
• This removes dirt, wool grease (crude lanolin), sweat salts, and other impurities.
• The pure anhydrous wax is obtained through centrifugal separation or solvent extraction.

Sustainability & Animal Welfare

• Lanolin is a 100% natural and cruelty-free by-product of sheep's wool.
• Sheep's wool grows continuously and must be sheared annually to prevent health hazards such as overheating or soiling.

Storage Instructions

• Store in a sealed container in cool, dry conditions.
• Lanolin does not go moldy and can last indefinitely, similar to honey. Batch dates are used for practicality rather than expiry dates.
